The museum’s annual membership drive has begun!

This year has been a quiet one for the South Boston – Halifax County Museum’s community, but as we open our doors to the public, we are excited to be seeing old friends and making new ones. We are so happy to have been the recipient of so much love and support in the two months since we formally reopened to the public.

At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic when our doors shut to the public, the museum faced a critical financial shortfall. As a small non-profit organization, we exist almost entirely on the revenue generated by membership dues, donations, and the generosity of members, patrons, and business partners.
